School's about to start

I'm moving onto campus tomorrow, so I'm shuffling my things slowly into my car tonight. I'm not really looking forward to this term at all. I'll be working fifteen hours per week (the same amount of time I used to spend in classes) in the writing center. I'll be in class for nine hours, clumped into Tuesday and Thursday evening. And, along with all this, I've met the people I'll be working with. There are two people there I like well enough, and nothing else, really. I'm worried about meeting people, as I usually am - one person I spent time with's graduated now, and I don't really see anyone else.

Also, I have my first day of classes on my birthday (Tuesday). A fine gift, innit? I suppose it's better than moving on my birthday, which was what happened last year.

I wouldn't be so down if I wasn't so tired, but carting furnishings and cutting tree boughs are fairly tiring jobs.

Well, so I'm not all depressing tonight - for anyone that's going to be in Richmond, you might want to consider getting ahold of a Summer reading card. They're supposed to be for primary schoolers, but no one there cares. The card gets you twenty percent off certain selections, incuding reference books, "classic" works, and graphic novels. The graphic novel discount should probably interest everyone. The card's free, and it's going on until the last day of the month.
