Nothing much to talk about. I wrote a little over 3,000 words yesterday as well, which continued to be nice. If I knew exactly what was going to happen I could finish the damn book tonight.

I also got back to Tales of Symphonia yesterday, and took on Efreet. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I fought something quite a bit ahead of where I was in the story and kicked its ass.

Turns out The Village is in the theater here in town. I'll probably go into town later and watch it.

I still haven't gotten around to talking about the festival, though maybe I'll be able to do that tomorrow. I suppose it won't be very interesting when written down, so I'll try to avoid being long-winded about everything.

That's really about it, for now.

This... All right then. Someone's blog is interesting... This site retells the Lovecraft short story "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" in the form of a LiveJournal. It's great...

So I wrote over 3,000 words today. That's a bit frightening. Really, I could actually have the first draft of this book done in three days, I think. Let's see how long it actually takes me to do it... Maybe it'll be done before school starts again... Ick.

Some links:

This is fairly brilliant. Some Japanese cosplayers put together a good deal of outdoor photos and created Alice in Wonderland. It's wonderful and creepy and faintly familiar in the strains of Dave McKean (comparison drawn by BoingBoing, not me). View the Mad Hatter:

Here's an interesting band: Harry and the Potters. I'm downloading their (apparently) most popular tune, The Wrath of Hermione just now, so I haven't heard it yet.

Also, in line with the Alice photos, here's something interesting as well: Lewis Carroll's scrapbook online. It's never been published before, so if you don't want to visit the Library of Congress this is the only way you're seeing it.

At some point soon I'll try to write about the festival, which was fantastic, I promise... Just not right now...

An update: The teaser I posted (find it here) is working for me now. I suppose I just tried it during a peak hour and timed out, or something. And yes, I used Firefox to get there.

Sci-Fi airing a new Battlestar Galactica series that continues directly after the mini-series that surprised so many people by being good.
