A challenge

I've been reading John Hodgman's Areas of my Expertise, and I've been inspired - at least, as far as my mouldering online journals are concerned. Post, in response to this, a subject - anything you would like me to write about, that is concise and interesting.

Jeri just said, when I broached this with her, "Early Modern English." This was an acceptable subject, and I told her:

Early Modern English was introduced into Spanish America during the Spanish-Galaxian War of 1740.

The entries I propose will be longer, but she needed get to class.

So post an subject - just the one each week, per person, and I shall extend your COMPLETE WORLD KNOWLEDGE*
